Marissa Ellis

Marissa Ellis is a research officer at The Australian National University (ANU) with a background in scientific research and policy development. Since February 2021, Marissa has held multiple roles at ANU, including undergraduate research student and sessional academic, while also serving as a senior resident at Wright Hall. Marissa gained experience as a policy intern and administration officer with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission from November 2022 to December 2023. Leadership skills are demonstrated through roles such as co-director and academic dinner coordinator for the ANU Women* in STEM Leadership Conference, co-president of the Science Society ANU, and program manager for Youth Leading in STEM. Marissa's education includes a Bachelor of Philosophy (Honours) in Science from ANU, completed between 2020 and 2023, preceded by studies at Trinity Bay State High School from 2015 to 2019.
