Michael Nelson

Michael Nelson is the Founder and Managing Director of SmarterKnowledge Pty Ltd, a management consulting company focused on enhancing client efficiency and effectiveness. With extensive experience, Nelson also serves as a member of the Hank Nelson Memorial Endowment Steering Committee at The Australian National University and holds the position of Director in the Service Improvement Group at the same institution. Additional roles include being a member of the Industry Advisory Group at the University of New South Wales and participating as a mentor in the UNSW Co-op Alumni Mentoring Program. Nelson's previous experience includes positions at Deloitte, Third Horizon, and Andersen Business Consulting, specializing in strategy and operations consulting. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Behavioural Economics and a Bachelor's degree in Business Information Technology from UNSW.
