Peter Coombes

Peter Coombes is an accomplished academic and industry leader, currently serving as an Honorary and Visiting Professor in the Crawford School of Public Policy at The Australian National University and as Managing Director of Urban Water Cycle Solutions, an independent think tank dedicated to sustainable water cycle management. With extensive experience in water resource engineering and policy, Peter has contributed to significant projects and initiatives, including serving as editor for the Urban Book for Engineers Australia and as a member of the Steering Committee for CAMELLIA at Imperial College London. Peter's previous roles include Chief Scientist at the Office of Living Victoria and various academic leadership positions, alongside a strong educational background with multiple degrees in engineering, economics, and environmental science.
