Peter Wood

Peter Wood currently serves as a Senior Policy Officer in Climate Policy for the Australian Government since March 2011. Concurrently, Peter holds a position as a Research Fellow at the Centre for Climate Economics and Policy at the Australian National University, focusing on Climate Change Mitigation Economics and Policy since April 2009, while previously working as a Postdoctoral Fellow on game theory applications in international climate negotiations. Prior to this, Peter was a Postdoctoral Fellow in Applied Mathematics at ANU from March 2007 to April 2009 and began a career as a Software Engineer at Hunting Tank Software from February 2005 to March 2007. Peter earned a PhD in Mathematics from Flinders University in 2003 and a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics from The Australian National University in 1996.
