Rabin Basnet

Rabin Basnet, PhD, is a Postdoctoral Researcher at The Australian National University since February 2020. Prior to this role, Rabin worked as a Research Assistant at the Fraunhofer-Institut für Solare Energiesysteme ISE from October 2013 to April 2016, focusing on the fabrication and optimization of photochromic devices as well as the characterization of doping profiles in different silicon substrates using an ECV tool. Rabin's academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Photovoltaics from The Australian National University (2016-2020), a Master of Science in Renewable Energy Management from the University of Freiburg (2013-2015), and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the Institute of Engineering, Pulchowk Campus, Nepal (2004-2009). Rabin also has experience as a Service Engineer at Dugar Groups from January 2009 to September 2009.
