Rebekah Brown is the Interim Vice-Chancellor and President at the Australian National University, specializing in sustainable cities and water. A multi-award-winning educator and researcher, Rebekah has led significant environmental studies initiatives and attracted $123 million in research funding throughout their career. They previously served as Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Senior Vice-President at Monash University, where they shaped the research agenda and developed key infrastructure strategies. A Fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences, Rebekah has published extensively and held leadership roles across various research entities. They hold a Bachelor of Civil Engineering (Honours) from Monash University and a PhD in Environmental Studies from the University of New South Wales.
