Rita Ferreira is a highly experienced researcher and scientist with a strong background in cell biology and biotechnology. Currently serving as a Research Fellow at The Australian National University since July 2018, Rita previously held senior scientist roles at Horizon Discovery and Pfizer from August 2016 to May 2018 and December 2011 to April 2016, respectively. Rita's academic journey includes a PhD in Cell Biology from Erasmus University Rotterdam and a Master's degree in Biotechnology from De Montfort University.
