Sarah Bourke

Research Fellow

Sarah Bourke is a Research Fellow at The Australian National University within the National Centre for Epidemiology and Population Health, focusing on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander wellbeing. Previously, Sarah completed a DPhil in Anthropology at the University of Oxford, where the thesis examined the Mayi Kuwayu Study on Indigenous health data in Australia. Additionally, Sarah served as an Oxplore Academic Content Reviewer and worked as a Research Assistant analyzing social cohesion policies across three countries. Sarah holds an MPhil in Medical Anthropology from the University of Oxford and dual Bachelor's degrees in Biological Anthropology and Psychology from The Australian National University.
