Sasha Grishin

Professor

Sasha Grishin holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Art History and has extensive experience as a Professor at the Australian National University since 1977, along with a role as Guest Curator at the National Gallery of Victoria since 2017. Grishin has contributed significantly to the field of art through the publication of over 2241 articles, critiques, and entries across various esteemed platforms, as well as authoring more than 25 books addressing diverse aspects of art. Additionally, Grishin has participated as a keynote speaker and guest speaker at numerous national and international conferences, focusing on topics such as Indigenous art in Australian practices and the influence of digital technologies on contemporary printmaking. Grishin's curatorial practice spans 58 exhibitions, highlighting a dedication to advancing art scholarship and appreciation.
