Sharon Bell

Sharon Bell holds a distinguished academic career with extensive leadership experience in various higher education institutions. Currently, Sharon serves as Professor Emeritus and Honorary Professor at The Australian National University while also acting as Interim Dean. In addition to these roles, Sharon has been an Emeritus Professor and former Dean at the University of Wollongong since 1994. Other notable positions include Deputy Vice Chancellor of Strategy and Planning at Western Sydney University and Deputy Vice Chancellor at Charles Darwin University, where responsibilities included high-level strategic leadership across multiple portfolios. Sharon's experience also encompasses a Professorial Fellow role at the LH Martin Institute, Deputy Vice Chancellor at the University of Canberra, Pro Vice Chancellor at Griffith University, and Head of Studies at the Australian Film Television and Radio School. Sharon's academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy in Anthropology from the University of Sydney.
