Shihao Jiang

Shihao Jiang is a Research Fellow at The Australian National University, focusing on research in diffusion models since July 2023. Previously, Shihao held the position of Senior Research Engineer at Tencent from August 2022 to April 2023, where Shihao led teams in Video See-Through and Human-computer Interaction. Shihao gained experience as a Research Intern at Baidu USA from January to June 2022, working on video generation using GAN-based approaches and studying energy-based generative models. Shihao completed a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Vision and Machine Learning at The Australian National University from May 2017 to November 2021, with notable publications in top conferences such as 3DV 2020, CVPR 2021, and ICCV 2021. Shihao's early experience includes a Summer Scholar position at CSIRO, where Shihao worked on software development and data analysis for crop growth during late 2015. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communications Engineering from The Australian National University, completed in 2016.
