Simon Grant

Simon Grant serves as the John C Harsanyi Professor of Economics at The Australian National University since December 2014. Previously, Simon held the position of Professor of Economics at the University of Queensland from March 2011 to December 2014 and was the Lay Family Professor of Economics at Rice University from July 2002 to June 2011. Educationally, Simon earned a PhD in Economics from Harvard University, completing the degree between 1987 and 1991, and holds a Bachelor of Economics and a Bachelor of Science in Economics, Statistics, and Applied Mathematics from ANU, obtained from 1981 to 1985.
