Surend Dayal

Surend Dayal is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in law and consulting. Currently serving as a Partner at Deloitte Consulting since November 2021, Surend specializes in Oracle solutions. In addition, Surend holds the title of Honorary Professor at the Australian National University, where contributions include the establishment of advanced courses in Information Technology Law and related fields. Surend has practiced as a Barrister at the Supreme Court of NSW since 1993, with expertise in contract law, intellectual property, and international law. Previous leadership roles include Chief Executive Officer of Magia Solutions, a prominent Oracle partner, and senior positions at Oracle, where Surend was instrumental in developing public sector business across the Asia Pacific region. Surend’s entrepreneurial ventures include angel investments in innovative startups such as Mashblox and Organic Response. Educational qualifications include a BSc/LLB from The Australian National University, and a law degree admission to the Bar.
