Tom Worthington

Tom Worthington has extensive experience in computer science education and research at The Australian National University, serving in various roles such as Computer Science Tutor, Honorary Senior Lecturer, and member of the ANU Disaster Risk Science Institute. With a focus on e-learning, sustainability, and disaster risk reduction, Tom has designed and delivered numerous courses, including ICT Sustainability and blended learning modules. As an Educational Designer for TomW Communications Pty Ltd, Tom advises on effective e-learning strategies and has contributed to research in climate change and energy efficiency through roles at the ANU Energy Change Institute and ANU Climate Change Institute. Additional involvement includes mentorship roles in various educational and defense initiatives. Tom holds a Master’s Degree in Open, Digital, and Distance Education and several other relevant qualifications.
