Xin Liu

Xin (Kelly) Liu is an accomplished academic and finance professional with significant experience in teaching and research. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Finance at the College of Business and Economics at the Australian National University since August 2014, Liu has engaged in impactful research on global financial policies. Previous roles include a Visiting Scholar at the Jerome A. Chazen Institute of International Business at Columbia Business School, an Investment Professional at Pavilion Capital, and a Research Assistant at the Institute of Real Estate Studies at NUS, where analyses focused on the global real estate market and default probabilities in Asia. Liu's educational background includes a PhD in Finance from the National University of Singapore, an M.S. in Applied Economics from the University of Minnesota, and a B.S. in Physics from the University of Science and Technology of China.
