Yash Lokare

Yash Lokare is a dedicated researcher in the field of physics, currently serving as a Graduate Research Assistant at Brown University since October 2022, focusing on the topological nature of conducting/edge surface states in topological insulators and modeling classical nonlinear dynamical systems on NISQ devices. Additional roles include an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Foundation for Research and Technology - Hellas (FORTH) since September 2021, where Yash is involved in matter-wave interferometric setups using Bose-Einstein condensates, and a Summer Research Intern at the University of Sydney, collaborating on Project Starshot to develop propulsion systems for ultra-light probes. Yash has also contributed research at CERN and several prestigious universities, including Yale and University College London. Educationally, Yash is pursuing a PhD in Physics at Brown University, building on a Sc.M. in Physics and a BTech in Engineering Physics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
