Simon Cuthbert has extensive experience in content licensing, distribution, and programming. Simon currently holds the position of Vice President Content Licensing, Distribution and Programming at Anuvu, where they are responsible for negotiating licensing agreements with major studios and acquiring films from prominent festivals. Prior to this, Simon worked as the Entertainment, Platforms and Connectivity Manager at Cathay Pacific Airways, where they led content strategy and negotiation, managed studio relationships, and handled monthly purchasing. Simon has also worked as a Content Specialist at STRUUM, where they curated and delivered content for a new SVOD aggregator service, and as a Digital Account Manager EMEA at Lionsgate, where they managed iTunes accounts across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. In addition, Simon has held roles at Apple, Pathé, British Film Institute, Lost Lectures, and M4West Media, gaining experience in programming, editing, production, and event management.
Simon Cuthbert completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Drama at the University of Exeter from 2009 to 2012. Simon later pursued an MBA Essentials program at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) from 2020 to 2021. Prior to their university education, Simon attended Reigate Grammar School from 2003 to 2008 where they studied Business, Politics, Drama, and Maths. Additionally, they obtained a certification in MBA Essentials from LSE in 2021.
