Ben Smith

Ben Smith serves as the SVP of Engineering at Anvilogic, leading a diverse international product development team focused on security in the AI era. Previously, Ben held the position of VP of Engineering at Stairwell, where significant accomplishments included enhancing project delivery rates and leading multiple large enterprise initiatives across various sectors. Prior to Stairwell, Ben was VP of Engineering at Emerald Cloud Lab, overseeing software engineering and IT, while implementing innovative processes and technologies to improve project outcomes and deliver critical features for scientific applications. Ben's extensive experience in engineering leadership spans various roles at Box, where responsibilities included product management and software architecture. Ben holds a PhD in Experimental Particle Physics and a BA in Physics and Mathematics, both from Harvard University, and is a graduate of Stuyvesant High School.
