Aaron Roller

Aaron Roller is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in robotics, software engineering, and product development. Currently serving as the Director of Developer Experience at ANYbotics since February 2024, Aaron facilitates developer support for robotic applications. Previously, as Principal Robotics Engineer at Thread, significant contributions were made in enhancing operator experience for robotic drones in wind turbine inspections. Aaron also played a vital role at AutoModality as Product Development Lead, preparing autonomous flying robots for commercial launch, and at School Tag, where the concept of gamifying school commutes was developed. Career highlights include leading teams at Postmates Inc. and Cruise Automation, enhancing e-commerce solutions at GearLaunch, and managing energy efficiency initiatives at Opower. Aaron co-founded TrailNetwork Inc., revolutionizing GPS activity tracking, and founded AAWhere, a software consultant venture in GPS fitness and green technology. Aaron holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
