Young Sohn

Young Sohn is an accomplished venture capitalist and corporate leader with extensive experience in the technology sector. Currently serving as Founding Managing Partner at Walden Catalyst Ventures since November 2021, Young also holds the position of Chairman of the Board at HARMAN International, where a significant $8 billion acquisition was initiated. Young co-founded the Extreme Tech Challenge, promoting innovation aligned with the UN's Sustainable Development Goals, and actively participates in various advisory roles, including Chairman of the Semiconductor Advisory Board at Samsung Electronics and Board Member at Arm. With a solid educational background from MIT Sloan School of Management and the University of Pennsylvania, Young has previously held senior roles at Samsung Electronics, Silver Lake, and Arm, contributing to major advancements and investments in emerging technologies.
