Founder and CEO at Anyone Can Learn To Code

Jay Wengrow has a long and varied work experience. Jay began their career in 2011 as a Lead Developer for doggyloot, where they scaled the prototype website to a full ecommerce platform, created many revenue generating features, and implemented a fully featured administration panel. Jay then worked as a Web Developer Intern for Sandbox Industries, where they created internal metrics tracking software and developed a widget that incentivized users to refer friends to the website. In 2013, they took on the role of Application Developer at Apartments.com. In 2014, they founded and became CEO of two companies: Actualize Coding Bootcamp and Anyone Can Learn To Code. At Actualize, they created the longest-running coding bootcamp in Chicago and the only national coding bootcamp that takes place 100%-live over video conferencing. Jay also founded the award-winning program that has helped hundreds of people launch brand new careers in technology. In 2017, they became an author of A Common-Sense Guide to Data Structures and Algorithms.

Jay Wengrow obtained a Master of Science (MS) in Computer Software Engineering from Loyola University Chicago in 2011, after completing a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Educational Administration and Supervision from the same university in 2006.
