Akshay Malik

Akshay Malik has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as an Engineering Manager at Anyscale since January 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Amazon from 2014 to 2023, progressing through various roles such as ML Engineering Manager, Sr. Software Development Engineer, and Software Development Engineer. Akshay also had earlier experiences at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign as an Engineering IT Student Consultant and ECE Senior Design participant from 2011 to 2014. Additionally, they worked as an Interim Engineering Intern at Qualcomm in 2013 and gained research experience as an Undergraduate Researcher in Prof. Eric Pop's research group at the University of Illinois from 2011 to 2012.

Akshay Malik completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business, between 2018 and 2021. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, from 2010 to 2014. Akshay began their education at Mount St. Mary's School in Delhi, India, where they attended from 1997 to 2010.
