Matt Weber

Matt Weber has a diverse work experience in the field of Computer Science. Matt currently works as a Software Engineer at Anyscale since August 2020. Prior to this role, they served as a Postdoctoral Researcher in Computer Science at the University of California, Berkeley, from September 2019 to August 2020. In this position, they contributed to the development of a programming language for deterministic and time-aware embedded systems. Additionally, they have held various roles as a Graduate Student Researcher and Instructor at the University. As a Graduate Student Researcher, they focused on their studies from September 2013 to August 2019. As a Graduate Student Instructor, they taught courses on computer architecture (CS 61C, Great Ideas in Computer Architecture) from September to December 2018 and on embedded systems (EE 149, Introduction to Embedded Systems) from September to December 2015. In these positions, they were responsible for leading lab and discussion sections, developing course content, and mentoring students.

Matt Weber graduated from the University of California, Berkeley in 2019 with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Computer Science. Prior to that, they attended the University of Virginia from 2009 to 2013, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Engineering and Computer Science.
