Pete Sonsini

Pete Sonsini is a venture capitalist and co-founder of Laude Ventures, where they invest in deeply technical entrepreneurs. Currently serving on the boards of companies such as Databricks, Anyscale, and Perplexity, Pete has built an impressive investment portfolio that includes several pre-revenue startups that have achieved multi-billion dollar valuations. Previously, they spent nearly two decades as a general partner at NEA, focusing on software investments and leading early investments in notable companies like Databricks and Upstart. Pete holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management and a BA from the University of California, Berkeley.
