Stephanie Wang

Stephanie Wang started their career as an Etsy shopkeeper for Hunnybees from December 2009 to January 2012. Stephanie then worked as an undergraduate researcher at the MIT Media Lab from February 2012 to September 2012. Stephanie later served as a software engineering intern at KAYAK from June 2013 to August 2013. Stephanie then worked as a software engineer extern at Diffeo in January 2014. Stephanie was a software engineering intern at Locu, Inc. from June 2014 to August 2014. Stephanie continued their education and became a graduate student researcher at MIT CSAIL, Parallel and Distributed Operating Systems group from September 2015 to June 2016, where they completed their thesis on certifying checksum-based logging in the RapidFSCQ crash-safe filesystem. Stephanie joined Samsara as a software engineer intern from June 2017 to August 2017. Stephanie then became a graduate student researcher at the University of California, Berkeley from August 2016 and is currently working at Anyscale as a software engineer, starting from June 2019, where they are involved in working on distributed systems and the Ray project.

Stephanie Wang completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 2011 to 2015. Following this, they pursued a Master of Engineering degree in Computer Science at the same institution, which they completed from 2015 to 2016. Stephanie then went on to attend the University of California, Berkeley, where they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy degree in an unspecified field of study from 2016 to 2022.
