Sujay Jayakar is an accomplished engineering leader with significant experience in the technology sector. Currently serving as the Head of Engineering for Infrastructure at Anysphere since May 2025, Sujay previously co-founded Convex and held the position of Chief Scientist from April 2021 to April 2025. At Microsoft Research, from September 2020 to April 2021, Sujay contributed as a Research Engineer, collaborating on the Demikernel project, which involved redesigning the TCP stack in Rust to achieve impressive performance metrics. Prior to this role, Sujay was a Principal Engineer at Dropbox from September 2012 to August 2020, acting as the area tech lead for Sync and overseeing storage and file synchronization technology for a vast number of devices. Sujay holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Math and Economics from Cornell University, earned between 2009 and 2012.
