Alan Thomsen

Alan Thomsen has extensive experience in risk management, particularly within the banking sector. Beginning as a Database Cleanser at HP, Alan quickly progressed to roles at GE Capital as a Portfolio Analyst and Senior Portfolio Analyst. At Westpac, Alan served as a Product Risk Manager before taking on various senior positions at ANZ from 2017 to 2022, including Head of Retail Risk Strategy, Head of Acquisition Risk for Consumer Finance, Head of Customer Protection, Head of Mortgage Credit Risk, Senior Manager Portfolio Risk, and Head of Collections Strategy and Planning. Alan holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Economics from the University of Auckland.
