Alex Burnet

Alex Burnet is a seasoned product leader with over 15 years of experience driving transformation across various sectors, including banking and consumer goods. They founded amfora.com.au, successfully establishing a high-quality e-commerce platform that connected Australian distillers with consumers and achieved significant profitability. Previously, Alex held roles at SABMiller and Fujitsu Services, where they managed global IT service delivery and executed major transition projects. Currently, they serve as the Product Owner for Cloud Platform at ANZx, where they focus on embedding FinOps culture and delivering substantial savings while maintaining high user satisfaction. Alex holds multiple degrees, including an MSc in Information Technology and an MA (Hons) in History and Law from the University of Aberdeen.
