Amanda Kells

Amanda Kells has extensive experience in risk management and compliance, currently serving as the Head of Centre of Excellence for Business Governance and Assurance at ANZ since January 2016. In this role, Amanda focuses on enhancing risk capabilities and driving best practices to ensure seamless risk management for business stakeholders. Previously, Amanda held the position of Senior Manager Internal Audit at BNZ, where leadership of an assurance team facilitated ongoing business improvements. Early career roles included Anti-Money Laundering Specialist positions in various financial institutions, along with operational analysis roles. Amanda holds a dual degree in Law and Chinese language from Victoria University of Wellington and completed an Intensive Mandarin course at the National University of Singapore.
