Babs Lake

Babs Lake is an experienced professional in environmental research and advisory roles, holding a Master's degree in Environmental Studies from Victoria University of Wellington and a Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience from Grinnell College. Babs has served in various capacities, including as an Independent Researcher and Advisor for clients like Green Party MP Eugenie Sage and Greenpeace, and has held positions such as Principal Advisor for Environment and Climate Change at the Office of the Mayor of Auckland. Additional roles include Company Secretary at Loomio Cooperative, Political and Media Advisor for the Green Party of Aotearoa New Zealand, and Co-Founder of Orientation Aotearoa. Babs has expertise in community development and sustainability, demonstrated through previous internships and advisory roles that focused on permaculture design and raising public awareness about environmental issues. Currently, Babs works as an ESG Disclosure Manager and Climate Strategy Lead at ANZ.
