Ben Large is a strategic risk leader with 20 years of experience in driving transformation and governance across the financial services sector in the UK and New Zealand. Ben's expertise encompasses Wealth Management, Private Banking, and Retail & Institutional Banking, with significant skills in first- and second-line risk, as well as strategic delivery and M&A integration. They have led complex risk initiatives, designed resilience frameworks, and built high-performing teams, while serving as a trusted advisor to boards and executive teams. Currently, Ben serves as the Head of Controls at Cushon and has previously held leadership roles at ANZ and Coutts, where they managed operational risk compliance and developed risk culture plans.
