David Simmons

David Simmons is currently the Executive Director of Sustainable Finance at ANZ, where they support initiatives focused on sustainability. Previously, David held various significant positions, including Director of Corporate Finance at GE Capital, where they led a team managing substantial asset-backed loans, and Associate Director at The Royal Bank of Scotland, overseeing a multi-billion GBP portfolio. Their experience also includes project management roles in implementing regulatory frameworks at Lloyds Bank and leading audit engagements at Deloitte Australia. David studies Accounting and Finance at the University of Technology, Sydney, and is a Chartered Accountant with Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.
