Fiona Sam

Fiona Sam is an experienced legal professional specializing in competition and consumer law. At the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC), Fiona served as Assistant Director of Merger Investigations, managing inquiries into the competitive effects of mergers under the Competition and Consumer Act. Fiona's career at ACCC also included roles in the Merger Coordination & Strategy team, Adjudication team, and the Merger and Authorisation Law Unit, ultimately advancing to Senior Investigator and Assistant Director in Enforcement, addressing various competition law matters. Fiona's legal expertise was further honed during a secondment at ANZ as a Lawyer in Regulatory and roles at Allens as Associate and Senior Associate in Competition, Consumer & Regulatory.
