Gareth Lewis is an accomplished banking professional with extensive experience in account management and transactional banking sales. Currently serving as Director of Account Management at Mastercard since January 2023, Gareth previously held the position of State Manager for NSW/ACT Transactional Banking Sales at ANZ, where leadership of sales specialists contributed to growth in revenue, funds under management, and market share. In past roles, Gareth has been integral in transforming product development and client experiences in commercial cards at ANZ and establishing operations for Global Blue in Australia. Previous experience includes working as Associate Director of Transactional Solutions at National Australia Bank and Senior Associate in Global Transactional Banking at Westpac. Gareth holds a Master’s Degree in Management Studies from The Open University and an Honours Degree in History with French from the University of Sussex.
