Jacob Somers

Jacob Somers is a seasoned Chief Risk Officer with extensive experience in operational risk and compliance, particularly within the financial sector. They served as Head of Operational Risk & Compliance at ANZ from 2018 to 2023, also taking on various leadership roles within the company. Prior to this, Jacob held positions at PwC and Accenture, and they began their career as a Commercial Analyst at Spotless Group. Currently, Jacob is the Chief Risk Officer at Suncorp Bank and is pursuing further education at several prestigious institutions, including the Australian Institute of Company Directors and Monash University.
