James Ellerman

James Ellerman is an experienced banking professional currently serving as the Director of Resources, Energy and Infrastructure (REI) at ANZ since November 2015. With a strong focus on the sustainable development of Papua New Guinea’s natural resources, James has also held key leadership roles such as Head of Research & Analysis and Director of Research & Analysis at ANZ, where responsibility included credit origination and portfolio management. Prior to ANZ, James worked at Macquarie Group as a Corporate Banker for the professional services sector and at National Australia Bank as a Business Banker, managing relationships with a variety of clients. James holds a Master’s Degree in International Relations from Macquarie University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from The Australian National University.
