James Mitchell is a Sustainability Strategist and Project Delivery Expert with a focus on driving climate innovation and impact. They served as the Strategy Coordination Lead at Sustainability Victoria from 2022 to 2023, where they contributed to developing a 3-year strategic plan and coordinated essential work streams. Currently, James is the ESG Analytics and Advisory Manager at ANZ and holds a position as the Emergency Management Strategic Planning Manager at the Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action from 2024 to 2025. They also previously worked as a Senior Consultant in Climate Change and Sustainability Services at Ernst & Young Global Consulting Services and have a strong background in management consulting at Accenture. James holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Laws and Arts from Deakin University and is pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in International Law and Legal Studies from Aarhus Universitet.
