Joel Lasam

Joel Lasam is a professional in Valuation Control and Product Control with extensive experience in financial analysis and risk management. Currently serving as a Controller in Markets & Treasury Control at ANZ since 2017, Joel previously held positions such as Manager and Assistant Manager in Global Markets Product Control at HSBC in 2016. Early in their career, Joel worked as a Portfolio Modeling Analyst at Manulife Financial and in various roles, including Claims Adjudicator and Premiums Associate. Joel earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of the Philippines and a Postgraduate Certificate in Valuation and Risk from Middlesex University, and is currently pursuing the Financial Risk Manager designation from the Global Association of Risk Professionals.
