Julia Kagan

Julia Kagan serves as the Deputy Company Secretary at ANZ since September 2025. Prior to this role, Julia Kagan held various positions at Viva Energy Australia from August 2018 to August 2025, including Company Secretary and Chief of Staff, Company Secretary and Head of Executive Reward, and Deputy Company Secretary. Julia Kagan's earlier experience includes Senior Corporate Counsel and Assistant Company Secretary at Bupa Australia & New Zealand, Manager of Group Governance and Company Secretariat at BHP, and multiple advisory roles at ASX. Julia Kagan began the professional journey as an Accountant at WHK Carricks. Academically, Julia Kagan earned a Bachelor’s degree in Law (with Hons) and Business (Banking and Finance) from Monash University and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Corporate Governance from the Governance Institute of Australia, recognized as the Victorian Dux in Corporate Accountability: Meetings and Disclosure.
