Marissa Thompson is an experienced legal professional with a focus on financial crime and regulatory supervision. Currently serving as the Head of Legal at ANZ since October 2016, Marissa plays a crucial role in overseeing legal matters related to financial regulations. Prior to this position, Marissa worked at Herbert Smith Freehills from March 2009 to October 2016, where roles included Senior Associate and Registered Foreign Lawyer. Marissa holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce – Economics and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Monash University, both obtained between 2003 and 2007.
