Melanie Biss has extensive experience in risk management and governance, currently serving as General Manager of Non Financial Risk at ANZ since November 2008. Over the years, Melanie has held various senior roles at ANZ, including General Manager of Business Performance & Governance and General Manager of Governance, Assurance and Business Support. Additionally, Melanie contributed to the Financial Advisers' Code Committee from November 2014 to March 2021 and served as a Business School Mentor for the Women's Mentoring Programme at The University of Auckland from March 2014 to March 2017. Prior to ANZ, Melanie worked as a Senior Associate at Russell McVeagh and DLA Phillips Fox. Melanie holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and a Bachelor of Commerce (BCA) from Victoria University of Wellington, completed between 1991 and 1995.
