Michael Lim

Michael Lim is an experienced banking professional with significant expertise in global transaction banking and structured trade finance. Currently serving as the Global Head of Financial Institutions in Transaction Banking at ANZ since February 2009, Michael has led a top-rated Global Transaction Banking business for Financial Institutions for over a decade. Previously, Michael held various leadership roles at HSBC, including Head of Structured Trade Finance Asia Pacific and Credit Executive in Specialised Lending, along with a tenure as Director of Corporate & Institutional Banking. Michael also served as Global Head of Trade & Supply Chain at ANZ, overseeing a comprehensive range of trade products across 33 countries. Academic qualifications include a Graduate Diploma in Finance and Investment from the Securities Institute of Australia and a Bachelor of Commerce from UNSW. Michael is a member of the Industry Advisory Board for the Macquarie Graduate School of Management's Global MBA Program.
