Michelle Yau is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in tax and immigration consulting, as well as people advisory services. Starting as a Tax Accountant at State Trustees from September 2002 to April 2006, Michelle subsequently joined EY, where a managerial role in People Advisory Services was held from May 2006 to March 2019. Afterward, as Employment Tax Manager at SMEC from March 2019 to November 2021, Michelle transitioned to the position of Talent & Culture Consultant - Tax & Immigration at ANZ in November 2021. Michelle holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (Accounting and Finance) from Monash University and a Graduate Diploma in Accounting from Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.
