Mieke Upton is currently the Head of Financial Crime at ANZ, a position they began in 2025. Previously, Mieke worked as a Senior Associate at Chapman Tripp from 2014 to 2019 and held senior solicitor roles at MinterEllisonRuddWatts and Buddle Findlay between 2007 and 2013. Their background includes expertise in tax and finance, as well as experience in anti-money laundering at an international law firm and financial institution in London. Mieke earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Victoria University of Wellington and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Laws at the same institution.
