Nick Griffiths

Nick Griffiths is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in the banking and finance sectors. Currently serving as Senior Counsel in the ANZ New Zealand Funds Management Legal team since March 2022, Nick has previously held significant roles at Kiwibank from February 2012 to November 2021 as Special Counsel / Head of Legal / Senior Corporate Lawyer, where major achievements included establishing various capital-raising programmes and a covered bond programme. Prior positions include General Counsel at Bank of New Zealand from July 2004 to January 2012, where Nick managed a legal team and contributed to substantial funding initiatives, and Legal Director at Bank of Scotland from January 1991 to May 2003. Nick began their legal career as a Solicitor at Cook Allan Gibson and mcveagh fleming. Nick holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Auckland.
