Nik Smith is an experienced banker and current Director of Climate Risk - Policy and Governance at ANZ, with extensive international experience across various roles in banking and finance. Previously, Nik served as Managing Director and Head of Commercial Banking Sustainability Risk and Policy at HSBC, among other leadership positions focused on operational excellence and financial crime remediation. With a Bachelor of Arts in Economic History and Politics from Macquarie University, Nik has worked in 21 countries, fostering high-performance teams and a customer-centric approach throughout their career. Currently, Nik is taking time to relocate back to Melbourne, Australia.
