Rick Strand

Rick Strand is a Cloud Engineering Manager at ANZ, leading a team of over 20 Cloud Engineers specializing in GCP, Terraform, Kubernetes, and Go. They have a strong background in software development, previously serving as a Senior Software Developer at Dialog Information Technology and in various roles at organizations such as Fernwood Fitness and Odecee. Rick co-founded The Currency Shop, which was acquired by Transferwise, demonstrating their entrepreneurial spirit. A passionate technologist, Rick has worked extensively in Agile environments and has a keen interest in innovation and startups. They began their career as a Software Developer and continue to engage in personal coding projects to maintain their technical skills.
