Simone Leijon

Simone Leijon is an experienced professional in conduct risk management with a career spanning over 15 years in various leadership roles. Currently serving as the Head of Conduct Risk CoE at ANZ since June 2019, Simone focuses on enhancing non-financial risk management through strategic implementation and stakeholder engagement. Prior to this role, Simone was the Head of Conduct Risk at NAB, where responsibilities included implementing an enterprise-wide conduct risk framework. Past positions also include Senior Consultant at ZEDRA Group and Trust & Fiduciary Risk Specialist roles at Barclays Wealth and Investment Management. Early career experience includes in-house counsel positions at Citco London Limited and State Trustees, specializing in trusts and cross-border client structures. Simone holds a Bachelor of Law and Bachelor of Arts from Monash University, Melbourne, Australia.
