Sumi S.

Sumi S. is the Chief Operating Officer at ANZ, a position they have held since 2019. Prior to this, Sumi served as the Head of Tech and Operations at UOB Seoul Branch from 2016 to 2019, and as Vice President at Goldman Sachs & Co. from 2011 to 2015, where they managed the Client Onboarding team and implemented regulatory changes. Sumi also worked at Goldman Sachs (Asia) LLC's Seoul Branch in similar roles from 2015 to 2016 and held positions at Citibank Korea and The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited, where they were responsible for various operations and compliance functions. Sumi earned a BA in English Literature and Language from Ewha Womans University between 1986 and 1990.
