Tan Wang

Tan Wang is an experienced data strategy and management professional currently serving as the Head of Data Strategy & Management at ANZ since April 2017. In this role, Tan Wang leads the development and execution of data strategies to enhance banking services in New Zealand. Prior to this, Tan Wang held various positions at ANZ including Senior Manager Data Strategy & Transformation, contributing to the enhancement of data capabilities aligned with the organization's vision. Tan Wang's earlier career includes significant roles at Auckland Council, focusing on data migration and governance, and positions at Mighty River Power, where analytics and performance improvement were key responsibilities. Tan Wang holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting and Commercial Law from The University of Auckland.
